MEXICO City, Mexico: Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard has said that German carmaker BMW is planning to invest in the central Mexican state of San Luis Potosi, where it already has a plant.
"The president has asked us to speed up investments in our country. He already announced a very important investment which will be made in San Luis Potosi, by BMW," said Ebrard.
Operating three plants in Latin America, BMW opened the billion-dollar site in San Luis Potosi, which currently manufactures the 3 Series, the 2 Series Coupe and M2 models, in 2019.
