At least 41 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza: sources
At least 41 Palestinians were killed Saturday by Israeli gunfire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to local hospitals and civil defense.
Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza's Nuseirat refugee camp reported in a press statement that eight people were killed and dozens of others injured while waiting for humanitarian aid near the Netzarim Corridor.
Iran rejects reducing nuclear activities to zero: president
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Saturday that Iran will not agree to reduce its nuclear activities to zero, according to a statement published on the website of his office.
"We are ready to cooperate and build trust over our peaceful nuclear activities," he told French President Emmanuel Macron in a phone call. "But we will not accept reducing nuclear activities to zero in any way," he said.
Israeli FM claims airstrikes delayed Iran's nuclear program by 2-3 years
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said Friday that recent Israeli airstrikes on Iran have delayed Tehran's ability to develop nuclear weapons by at least two to three years.
Israeli forces had launched a large-scale operation against Iranian military infrastructure and nuclear facilities, killing several senior military commanders and nuclear scientists, Saar told German newspaper Bild in an interview conducted in Jerusalem and published on Saturday.
Yemen's Houthis vow to target U.S. ships if Washington attacks Iran
Yemen's Houthi group said in a statement on Saturday that it would target U.S. ships if Washington attacks Iran.
"If America is involved in the attack and aggression against Iran ... the armed forces (Houthi forces) will target its ships and battleships in the Red Sea," Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea said in the statement, aired by Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.

The U.S. government has pressed Japan to raise its defense spending to 3.5 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), a demand that will likely prompt Tokyo to cancel a planned high-level meeting with Washington, Kyodo News reported Saturday, citing a diplomatic source.

Tesla to build grid-side energy storage station in Shanghai
U.S. carmaker Tesla on Friday inked a deal with Chinese partners to build a grid-side energy storage station in Shanghai using its Megapack energy-storage batteries.
The deal, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan (about 556 million U.S. dollars), marked Tesla's expansion into China's burgeoning energy storage market, paving the way for its facility to connect with the country's vast power grid, the largest in the world.
BYD expands EV export capacity with fifth car carrier delivery
Chinese leading electric vehicle manufacturer BYD announced on Saturday the official delivery of its fifth vehicle carrier, the BYD XI'AN, in the city of Yizheng, east China's Jiangsu Province, marking another significant advancement in its global sales and supply chain layout.
With 16 vehicle decks, the 219.9-meter-long, 37.7-meter-wide BYD XI'AN features a service speed of 19 knots and a loading capacity of 9,200 vehicles, according to BYD, based in the tech hub of Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.
